The Oregon History Project (OHP) is an online resource that explores Oregon history through the lens of primary sources such as photographs, objects, and archival materials. The OHP features hundreds of historical records and objects preserved in OHS’s extensive collections that have been digitized, annotated, and organized according to the state of Oregon’s social studies standards. Educators and students can explore interpretive essays written by subject matter experts as well as an online learning center where in-depth historical narratives introduce broad subjects, such as regional histories and interpretations of major historical events.
